How would the job title of network administrator for Heathrow Airport look on your CV?...Good? Then you need to be applying for this position!
Working for my client an outsourced service provider you will be based on site at Heathrow Airport in Middlesex. This position requires someone with a level head who thrives in a pressurised environment. You will be challenged on a day to day basis and need to be on the ball to keep on top of the 30 Minute SLAs (Service Level Agreements) required for the site.
Ideally drawing on your many years experience within the industry it would be helpful if you had a thorough understanding of Dos, windows operating systems including 95 * 98 * NT * 2000 * 2003.
You will be supporting a bespoke airport software system called MUSE which allows all the various airlines to log into the one system, this covers all the check-in desks throughout the terminals. This is running on a Windows 2000 server and there is Windows XP and NT running client side.
You will have excellent knowledge of working in an IT administration environment and be familiar with documentation procedures, back up technology and be committed to performing full hand over to colleagues at the end of your shift.
Shifts run from 7am - 7pm and work on a 3 week rotation.
